Our History

“A journey from vision to reality—bringing quality education to rural roots.”

The story of Bardiya International School & Junior College (CBSE) is one of vision, determination, and heartfelt commitment to uplift rural education in Maharashtra.

Founded in 2016, the school is a noble initiative of the Swa Shantilalji Lakhichandji Bahuudeshiya Sanstha, a government-recognized educational trust registered under the BPT Act 1950 and Society Act 1860. With its headquarters at Jamner Road, Gat No. 97, Bodwad, District Jalgaon, the trust was established with the goal of transforming the educational landscape in rural areas.

The driving force behind this transformative effort is Shri Arvind Shantilalji Bardiya, a renowned industrialist and a visionary leader from Bodwad. Deeply inspired by the ideals of service and education, Shri Bardiya took it upon himself to fulfill a long-cherished dream—to open the first CBSE-affiliated school in the rural region of Bodwad Taluka. His motivation was simple yet profound: to give the children of farmers and daily wage workers the same opportunity for excellence that their urban counterparts enjoy.

With a strong belief that socio-economic progress begins with quality education, Shri Bardiya led the establishment of a school that combines Indian culture with modern scientific learning. His vision wasn’t limited to academics alone—he envisioned a comprehensive environment where rural children could grow intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.

To ensure accessibility, the school also launched a dedicated transport service, covering villages within a 30 km radius such as Liha, Mahulangi, Kapuswadi, Lonwadi, Salsinghi, Jalchakra, Betawad, and Muktainagar. This initiative made world-class CBSE education truly reachable for rural families.

Since its inception, Bardiya International School has made rapid strides. The school earned regional acclaim for its high educational standards and holistic approach to child development. A milestone achievement was marked in the academic year 2021-22, when the first CBSE Class X batch passed with 100% results, drawing admiration from parents, educationists, and the community at large.

Today, the school stands tall—not only as an institution of academic excellence but also as a symbol of social change. It is a place where rural dreams take shape, where modern education is blended with timeless values, and where every student is empowered to aim higher, think deeper, and grow stronger.
